Vicky Langdon – graduate of Goldsmiths College BA and University of Brighton Printmaking MA. I am a silk screen printer working with both paper and fabric, currently showing in galleries in London and Brighton. My work is concerned with urban creatures, that symbolise the city itself. By screen-printing layered graphic colour and bitmapped images I create a feeling of fast production and disposability. The images are reminiscent of the’pop-art’ technic of using enlargerd dots from commercial posters. |
